What if I want a hat in a shape that is not listed?
The website contains just a sample of various hat shapes. If you have another hat shape in mind, you can e-mail us at hatmaker@virginiacityhatmaker.com or give us a call at 775 847 9214.
How do I take care of my hat?
-Never set your hat brim side down; this puts the weight of the hat on the brim and can cause it to flatten out. The best place to store your hat is on a peg or hat tree. If you place your hat on a table, always place it upside down, the inside hat facing up.
-Regular brushing is also important.
How do I know what size hat I would wear?
Please refer to the “Hat sizing information” page. You will also see this information repeated in the Custom Beaver Hats section as you order your custom hat.
How do you ship?
We ship by United States Postal Service. Shipping cost is included in the hat price (see Shipping policy) If you would like your hat shipped another way, just let us know, but additional charges could be billed.
How long will it take to get the hat?
It will take from one week to three weeks, depending the time of the year. Fall and winter are our busiest time.
